This year, our university is part of the Month of Jewish Culture with three lectures held in our library.
The first took place on Thursday, September 5, 2024, when Dr. Grgo Grbešić spoke about the relationship between the Church and the Jews. This was followed by a literary evening with Paula Rem on Communication Between Jews and Christians in Croatian Literature, held on September 10, 2024. A team from Croatian Radiotelevision (HRT) recorded a segment with our dean, Dr. Dalibor Kraljik, and the head of the Institute for Christian Music and Worship, Judita Paljević Kraljik, about the new academic year, enrollments, and new activities at our university. The musical part featured pianist Judita Paljević Kraljik, who performed her original composition Our Father, young singer and violinist Ivan Bulić, who performed the song Durum, durum, and then played the 1st movement of Israeli Concertino by George Perlman, Hora-Hatikvah, on violin, accompanied by Professor Ivančica Hinek on piano.
The final lecture will be held in our library on Thursday, September 12, where our lecturer Julijana Tesija will speak about Esther and Ruth, starting at 6 PM. As part of the lecture, a choreodrama about Otilija Berger will be performed by the Koreos group.
