On Saturday, March 22, 2025, our students, lecturer Aleksandar Apostolovski, our librarian Debora, and her husband Srđan Svirčev joined a group from Novi Sad, from the Protestant Christian Community – Novi Sad, and visited Fruška Gora near the Srem village of Vizić.
In agreement with Pastor Dušan Beređij and Boris Antić, during the excursion, we enjoyed picking wild garlic, Srem herbs, and other plants abundant in this region. Tanja Marčok from Royal Rangers Serbia – Novi Sad also spoke to us about all this, explaining the importance and medicinal properties of the plants as well as how they can be used in nutrition.
It was a wonderful day: we enjoyed the beautiful weather, took a leisurely walk through the forest, got to know the plant world of Fruška Gora, but above all, we got to know one another. It was a blessing to be in fellowship with those who love each other “as brothers and sisters” and who love the Lord (Hebrews 13:1).
We are grateful to everyone who made this gathering possible, and we look forward to our next meeting!
