Dear new researchers and students, here is great news for you!

A call for papers has been announced! The theme is quite broad but interesting! And there are prizes involved!

Here are the rules for the competition:

• The competition is open to authors residing in Croatia who have not yet published professional or scientific articles in domestic or foreign journals.

• The article, written on the topic “Evangelical Christianity: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow,” can focus on a theme, problem, or issue related to the past, present, or future of evangelical Christianity and can be written from a biblical, theological, or church-historical perspective.

• Guidelines for writing the article:

  • The article must include an introduction, body, conclusion, and a list of references.
  • Article length: 3000 to 8000 words.
  • Only original, previously unpublished works will be accepted. It is not acceptable if any part of the text has been previously published in a book, journal, online portal, or social media (the work must not be plagiarized or self-plagiarized).
  • The article must follow the guidelines for publishing articles in the evangelical theological journal Kairos (https://kairos.bizg.hr/upute-za-autore/).

• Submitted articles will undergo a peer review process. Articles that successfully pass the review will be published in the Kairos journal in both Croatian and English.

• Authors of articles that successfully pass the review will be awarded a cash prize of €100 and a set of theological books.

• The competition deadline is September 25, 2024, by which time articles must be sent to the editorial board of Kairos. The awards will be presented at the annual ETD assembly in November or December 2024.

• The competition is open to all, with no age restrictions for applicants. Each author must submit their full name and surname. At the end of the work, a brief biography of the author (up to 100 words), their residential address, email address, and phone number should be included.

• The text and required information should be sent exclusively via email to kairos@bizg.hr. For any questions or clarifications, interested authors can contact the provided email address.
