Yesterday, we opened a corner for the youngest reading enthusiasts – the children’s library of ETVOS!
How was it? Great! Lots of children’s joy, laughter, surprises, games, and socializing filled both the large and small libraries of the theological college.
Our Melita Špoljarić and Matej Sakač presented two picture books for children: “Karlo and the Great Cover-Up” and “Paola and the Time Spent in Front of the Screen” by Betsy Childs Howard. These books help parents (and educators, teachers…) raise awareness in children about self-control regarding screen time, as well as important lessons on repentance and forgiveness, all while promoting a culture of reading, imagination, and language skills. This is one of the goals of opening our children’s library, which we believe will host more events for the youngest members of the community.
The books were translated into Croatian by Radosna vijest, and they are available in their webshop through the following links:

Welcome to our libraries!
We look forward to seeing you for reading and/or conversation!
