The Five Altars of Revelation were created as a play with the Father, said the author and artist, Liviu Mocan, yesterday, during the installation of his composition as a permanent display in the library of our university.
Along with the author, the event was attended by representatives from the Romanian Embassy, the Osijek-Baranja County, as well as members of religious communities, civil society, and the media.
The event was hosted by Judita Paljević-Kraljik, who warmly welcomed everyone to the living room of the library, which is now home to this impressive work that speaks of God’s creation and inspiration to humanity.
The dean, Dr. Dalibor Kraljik, spoke about the journey of this composition to Osijek, the obstacles along the way, and the author’s decision to donate it to ETVOS. He expressed heartfelt thanks to everyone who helped make the event a reality, particularly the director of the Museum of Fine Arts, the artist and sculptor Eduard Hudilin, and the pastor and artist Saša Nikolinović.
In their presentations, the artists spoke about the author Mocan, the composition itself, and emphasized the significance of this unique piece for the city of Osijek and Croatia.
The author, through a performance and words full of love and gratitude to God, presented the idea of the five altars as paths of God’s revelation to humanity.
We thank everyone for attending, especially those who helped make this evening full of joy, words, good food, and the spirit of community!
