Enrollment in the first year of study is carried out on the basis of a public competition, which is published on the official website of the Seminary, within the deadlines prescribed by law, and according to the enrollment quotas determined for each academic year by the Seminary. Enrollment in the study may also be carried out by transferring from another higher education institution of the social or humanities major, according to the procedure and under the conditions prescribed by a special regulation.
Croatians and applications from abroad may apply for the undergraduate and graduate studies in theology. Foreign citizens have the right to enroll in regular undergraduate program and graduate program. All candidates submit their applications for the study directly to the Evangelical Theological Seminary in Osijek, at the address: Cvjetkova 32, p.o. 370, 31103 Osijek and to the e-mail address of the student registry’s office: melita.spoljaric@evtos.hr, along with all necessary documentation required by the competition. Late and incomplete applications will be excluded from further processing. In the application, the applicant must indicate which study and specialization they are applying for, and whether they are applying for regular or extension program.
Candidates submit their applications in the summer term by 15 July, or in the autumn term by 15 September for the academic year to follow.
The basic requirements for the undergraduate study of theology for the acquisition of the professional title BACHELOR OF THEOLOGY are:
- completed 4-year high school,
passed state matura/examination who completed high school after 2010, - good knowledge of the Croatian (Bosnian or Serbian) language or English (English language testing is mandatory for all students whose native language is not English),
- verification of special abilities and motivational interview.
